Ston Models flagship F3K DLG | Combining Art and Engineering
With the Shaman 2, Ston Models builds on previous designs by further reducing drag, boosting performance, and refining handling.
Build Options:
Kits include servo trays, pull strings, control horns, launch peg, tail springs, and all necessary hardware for completion.
RTF options arrive with Chaservo LV06 or HV06 servos and launch peg factory installed.
Layup Options:
The Shaman 2 is available in three layup weights optimized for the best strength-to-weight ratio across varying conditions:
Light (215g) | IMS65 25g carbon in two layers, with one additional layer for the D-box, ballast up to 60g (ideal for calm air).
Standard (225g) | Two layers of IMS65 30g carbon, one layer D-box, ballast up to 90g (balanced choice, best for most conditions).
Strong (255g) | Three layers +45/0/-45 of 45g carbon, 2 layer D-box, plus additional reinforcements, up to 150g ballast (best for windy conditions and aggressive launching).
All weights are approximate and vary depending on color scheme.

Ballast kits and wing covers are available separately.
Triangular Aileron Transitions
At each aileron end, unique hinged transition pieces create a tapered connection between the control surface and the wing. This innovative design minimizes vortices and drag at the ends of the ailerons, delaying stall onset while simultaneously enhancing overall performance and handling.
Refined Fuselage Design
The fuselage’s subtle curve and minimized cross-section reduce drag across all phases of flight.
Ballast Options for All Conditions
An innovative ballast system provides exceptional flexibility, allowing quick adjustments to flying weight and center of gravity. This enables optimal performance across varying wind and lift conditions, ensuring the glider remains responsive, efficient, and perfectly tuned for the day’s flying.
Two Piece Wing
The flared wing-fuselage interface is engineered to further reduce drag, creating a smooth aerodynamic transition that is strong and efficient. The two-piece wing mounts securely on top with four screws, delivering quick assembly and rock-solid strength. Spring contacts replace traditional servo leads and plugs, making setup fast and reliable.
Anhedral Stabilizer
The anhedral stabilizer design ensures wake-free elevator response at all speeds and angles of attack, delivering crisp, predictable control without interference from wing turbulence. The Shaman 2 utilizes a single elevator servo, the elevators are connected with a pin system for simple, solid control.
